Kathy Petrino loves to travel and she really likes to write about her travels, which is good for us. She writes about everywhere she travels because she loves to share her experiences, so that others can have fun and also miss out on some of the problems that she sometimes experiences. This is why she writes about every aspect of every trip, both good and bad. She has written about Napa Valley wine country in California because it is one of her favorite travel destinations extensively. That destination has changed somewhat over the years, but many aspects that are always the same.

A trip to the Napa Valley used to mean heading “up-valley,” to interesting small towns and villages, like Yountville, St. Helena, Oakville, and Calistoga, among many others. One example is di Rosa, which is an art preserve out on the Carneros Highway that can boast of having the most significant holdings contemporary art in the entire Bay Area, as well as one of the largest in the entire world. People still visit those places, but these days, many now stay in downtown Napa. One reason for this is, Napa features many first-class hotels and elite restaurants, as well as a vibrant nightlife and more. Of course, the main reason to visit Napa Valley is wine. However, everyone should know there is a lot more to see.

It is clear Kathy Petrino has a strong appreciation her role as a travel blogger. That is why she always makes sure she has provided her readers with plenty of insight into the places she visits. She genuinely desires that everyone who travels has a great time when they follow her to the best travel destinations. It is perhaps Kathy’s strong sense of adventure that makes her want readers to see everything she has seen, including a few destinations that seem almost like cliches, like, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Not only is Las Vegas one of the most famous and popular destinations in the world, it also ranks as one of Kathy Petrino’s favorites. It’s because there is almost literally something for everyone in the family to see and do. That is true, even if they can’t or don’t want to gamble. Vegas quite often ranks among the least expensive travel destinations anywhere because there is so much inexpensive and free entertainment available, like the venerable free circus acts at Circus Circus. Also, where can you see the Eiffel Tower at one hotel, the canals of Venice at another, and the Manhattan skyline at yet another? You can even see it all from a helicopter.
